Two shades of green in one fab necklace! Aventurine is the darker green and prehnite is the lighter. The larger and darker green beads are shaped like faceted barrels and are approx. 18 mm long. They contrast with the lighter green, smaller, round 8mm prehnite beads.
The necklace has an adjustable length with an extender chain. The length is approx. 21.5 - 23 inches. The clasp is sterling silver and the chain is silver plated.
Green aventurine is a form of quartz/chalcedony that is said to bring luck and healing. Prehnite is a silicate, and thus also in the quartz family and also said to also have healing properties.
